Our Advanced Engineering team is at the forefront of components and systems engineering, including: axles and drivelines, braking systems and suspension systems for heavy- and medium-duty trucks, trailers, buses, off-highway and military vehicles. Our Advanced Engineering team has centers of excellence in the following locations:

  • Bangalore, India: Product engineering and benchmarking, prototyping, validation and testing, aftermarket engineering and metallurgy and metrology services
  • Cameri, Italy: European center of axle research and development
  • Cwmbran, United Kingdom: Brakes

 Marketing & Communications


The Marketing & Communications function is responsible for the promotion and protection of the company’s image and brand with employees, customers, news media and other stakeholders. Aligned with Meritor’s business goals, the team develops and executes strategic marketing and communication plans using a variety of mechanisms for internal and external audiences.

The Marketing team develops plans and activities to drive sales across business segments, including Commercial Truck & Industrial and Aftermarket & Trailer. The team creates and manages trade shows and customer events to promote the Meritor brand. In addition, Marketing works with the trade press to ensure strong coverage of Meritor products and supports products with targeted advertising.

The Corporate Communications team develops and executes internal and external strategies related to branding, employee engagement, digital communication, community and government relations, media relations, executive communications and corporate advertising. The Meritor Trust Fund, which supports charitable organizations in communities around the globe, is also managed through the Corporate Communications department.

DriveForce™ is Meritor’s North America field support team. DriveForce’s sales, service and aftermarket representatives support commercial vehicle needs from cradle to grave by offering a total vehicle perspective, making them valued experts in the industry.

Our OnTrac service professionals help customers with troubleshooting and handle warranty issues, such as validating coverage, opening a new claim and following up on an ongoing claim. They also close existing claims.
